DSI MISSION STATEMENT
Downtown Salisbury, Inc. will promote, enhance and manage the development of the central business district in a manner which will make the district the economic, governmental, social and cultural center of Rowan County. We will address the needs of impacting neighborhoods and businesses within and adjacent to the Municipal Service District. We will accomplish the above by promoting activity in economic restructuring, design, promotions, and building partnerships.

Empire Hotel
 Downtown Salisbury, Inc. continues to own the hotel as our efforts now are turned toward fundraising for the DSI Revolving Fund. Read more

Several additional stop lights are being considered for possible removal and plans for more efficient traffic flow are being studied. Read more

Promotions Committee
Downtown merchants respond to a survey to determine the future of Downtown events. The results were definitive. Read more

Downtown Neighborhood Association
The Downtown Neighborhood Association is made up of a few representatives from different residential buildings (i.e. the Plaza, the Firehouse Lofts, Pottery 101, etc.) and meets quarterly to discuss issues related to living downtown. Read more |
