In celebration of Veteran's Day, Downtown Salisbury, Inc. is honoring Rowan County veterans and current service men and women with a special parade during the 1st Friday in November. The Heroes & Horses event will be held on Fisher Street on Friday, November 7th, 2014 from 5 – 8 pm. At 5:30 pm the parade will begin on West Fisher Street in front of the library and conclude on South Lee Street in front of the old firehouse building.
