Celebrating another 1st Friday in Downtown Salisbury with History Alive!

Hop on your horse and buggy and head on to downtown as we celebrate with merchants open late, strolling historical characters, weaving on a loom, learn how to write calligraphy, traditional hoop rolling, activities at Rowan Museum, great promotions in stores and restaurants, and MUCH MORE!

Join the Rowan Museum, Inc. the following day as they celebrate the SEASON OPENING of the 1766 Old Stone House.

Saturday, April 4, 2015 • 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Tours of the house with guides in period costumes, crafts, including dying Easter eggs with natural dyes, musket firing, woodworking, weaving, spinning, tatting, candle making, open fire cooking and tastings, children's games, creek campsite, colonial dancing, blacksmith, music and much more.

The cost is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.

The Old Stone House is located only one half mile down Old Stone House Road on Highway 52 in Granite Quarry.
